The 5,000mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day, and IP67 water resistance adds a layer of durability you rarely see at this price. The trade-offs are real, though. The Exynos 1280 processor was never a powerhouse, and in 2026 it shows its age with occasional stutters in heavier apps and games. The 64MP camera is solid in daylight but struggles in low light, and 25W charging feels slow when many budget phones now charge twice as fast. If you spot the A53 5G at a deep discount, it remains a remarkably well-rounded phone. For full-price purchases, the Galaxy A55 or A56 are smarter choices.
