How to Get Your EE PAC Code

The quickest way to get your EE PAC code is to text PAC to 65075 from your EE phone. You'll receive your PAC code by text within a minute.

Family / Multi-line Accounts: If you have multiple numbers (lines) attached to the same account, the text-to-switch service often won't work. In this case, you will need to log into your account online or call customer service to request your PAC.

Text PAC to 65075 from your EE mobile. Under Ofcom rules, EE must send you your PAC code via text within 60 seconds. The code is valid for 30 days.

If you are still within your minimum contract term, EE may charge an early termination fee covering your remaining monthly payments. Contact EE on 150 to check your contract end date.

Choose a plan with your new provider and give them your PAC code during or after the sign-up process.

Your old EE contract will be cancelled automatically once your number transfers to your new network. This typically happens within one working day of submitting the PAC code.

How to Switch to EE

Text PAC to 65075 from your current mobile. Your network must respond within 60 seconds with your PAC code, which is valid for 30 days.

Order your chosen EE plan online, in-store, or by calling 0800 079 8586. You will receive a new EE SIM card with your order.

Once you have your new EE SIM, provide your PAC code to EE via the My EE app, online chat, or by calling customer services. Your number will transfer within one working day.

EE STAC Code

If you want to leave EE but do not need to keep your existing phone number, you can request a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) instead of a PAC code. Text STAC to 75075 from your EE handset. EE must respond within 60 seconds. Give the STAC to your new provider, and your EE account will be terminated within one working day. This is useful if you want a fresh start with a new number on another network.

No. Under Ofcom regulations, all UK networks including EE must provide PAC codes free of charge. The text to 65075 is also free.
What happens to my EE contract when I port my number out?
Your EE contract is automatically cancelled when your number transfers to the new network. You will receive a final bill covering any outstanding charges and, if applicable, early termination fees.
