Major Network Updated February 2026

How to Get Your EE PAC Code

The quickest way to get your EE PAC code is to text PAC to 65075 from your EE phone. You'll receive your PAC code by text within a minute.

You can also get your PAC code by:

  • Calling 150 from your EE phone (or 0800 079 8586 from another phone)
  • Logging into your account at ee.co.uk/help/account/switching

Your PAC code is valid for 30 days. If it expires, simply request a new one.

How to Switch to EE

To switch to EE and keep your current number:

  1. Get your PAC code from your current network by texting PAC to 65075
  2. Choose a EE plan and sign up
  3. Give EE your PAC code during or after sign-up
  4. Your number will transfer within 1 working day

EE STAC Code

If you want to leave EE but don't want to keep your phone number, text STAC to 75075. This gives you a STAC code (Service Termination Authorisation Code) that cancels your contract without porting your number.

Which Network Does EE Use?

EE is one of the UK's four major network operators (MNOs). It owns and operates its own mobile infrastructure including masts, transmitters, and core network equipment.

Several virtual networks (MVNOs) use EE's infrastructure: BT Mobile, Plusnet Mobile, Lycamobile, 1pMobile, spusu and Talk Home. These networks share EE's coverage but set their own prices and plans.
