How to Switch to EE
Browse EE's range of pay monthly, SIM-only, or pay-as-you-go plans. EE offers the UK's largest 4G network and fastest 5G speeds in selected cities.
Text PAC to 65075 from your current mobile. Your network must respond within 60 seconds with your PAC code, which is valid for 30 days.
Order your chosen EE plan online, in-store, or by calling 0800 079 8586. You will receive a new EE SIM card with your order.
Once you have your new EE SIM, provide your PAC code to EE via the My EE app, online chat, or by calling customer services. Your number will transfer within one working day.
EE STAC Code
If you want to leave EE but do not need to keep your existing phone number, you can request a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) instead of a PAC code. Text STAC to 75075 from your EE handset. EE must respond within 60 seconds. Give the STAC to your new provider, and your EE account will be terminated within one working day. This is useful if you want a fresh start with a new number on another network.
Which Network Does EE Use?
EE is the UK's largest mobile network, serving over 27 million customers. Originally formed from the merger of Orange and T-Mobile in 2010, EE was acquired by BT Group in 2016. EE was the first UK network to launch 4G in 2012 and continues to lead in network coverage and speed.
EE provides 4G coverage to over 99% of the UK population and offers 5G in more than 100 towns and cities. Its network spans urban centres, rural areas, and major transport routes, making it the most extensive 4G network in the country.
